Description

Whether you’re learning the basics or ready to push your glass skills into the third dimension, this session is designed to help you confidently create.

Join stained glass artist Kara for an immersive, hands-on workshop in the captivating world of 3D stained glass. In this step-by-step session, you’ll take your projects from flat to FAB using 3D flowers, leaves, mixed media, and wire structures. With a wide selection of colorful art glass to choose from, you will craft your own leafy 3D creation while expanding your skill set.

Because this class is scaled to your individual pace, your final project will be tailored to your experience:

  • Beginner Glassers: Master the fundamentals and finish one beautiful, small 3D flower.

  • Intermediate Glassers: Utilize your existing skills to complete a more complex 3D flower hoop with leaves, learning advanced techniques for foiling for 3D, soldering with or without a jig,

What To Expect
Over the course of 6 hours (split into two 3-hour sessions), you’ll receive personalized guidance in a supportive and fun environment. We will cover all the fundamentals of stained glass while teaching you my unique approach to 3D soldering.

What You'll Walk Away With:

  • Core Fundamentals: Hands-on experience cutting, grinding, foiling, as well as special techniques for foiling, soldering, cleaning and polishing your 3D pieces.

  • Studio Confidence: An understanding of studio safety and lead-free soldering techniques.

  • Finished Art: A one-of-a-kind 3D stained glass sculpture built by you!
